Tim joined the ISGS groundwater section in 1980 upon completing a Masters Degree in Geology at NIU. While at the survey Tim has developed expertise in groundwater resource investigations, seismic refract and electrical methods. Now he is a member of the shallow seismic reflection team. Tim operates the ISGS earthquake seismometer and provides public outreach concerning earthquakes and earthquake hazards.
