Major Responsibilities

• Geoscience education and outreach. Develop outreach materials, field trips, workshops for citizens of Illinois.

Current Projects

• Lead 4 annual Geological Science Field Trips.
• Develop (with others) and lead teacher workshops.
• Give talks to schools and other civic and citizen groups.
• Develop new outreach publications and materials.
• Work with other state agencies to coordinate educational outreach activities and plans.
