Application process

An application form must be completed and returned by the closing date for full consideration.

The application form is available in Adobe Acrobat format or you can download the application in MS WORD format. (Hold the shift key and click on the MS WORD link.) Please return via e-mail as attachments your completed application, resume and cover letter to Lori Walston in Human Resources at walston@isgs.illinois.edu by the applicable closing date. We will also need your college transcripts for any position that requires a degree. Following the closing date, we will conduct a preliminary review of the applications and select the finalists to be invited to the Survey for personal interviews. At some point you will be notified of the status of your application.

Applicants should note that our positions are exempt from the State Personnel Code and are under the Board of Natural Resources and Conservation (BNRC) and follow BNRC policies and procedures. These are not bargaining unit positions or merit comp positions.
